Tara Caplis

I am currently a junior at Montana State University studying Landscape Design and Photography. Born and raised in Helena, Montana the outdoors has always played a big part in my life. My grandmother was a big gardener and influence as I was growing up, which inspired me creatively to find a profession that combines both horticulture and design. I am passionate about finding design solutions in urban and natural landscapes. As I continue in my degree, I look forward to how this field of study will help communities across the world.

Johnny Dohner

I am a junior at Montana State University majoring in Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Design. I am originally from Dubuque, IA and at 18 moved to Bozeman for my love of skiing and the outdoors. In an exciting and growing field, conservation and sustainable landscapes are becoming increasingly important, and I’m hoping to continue these efforts using my degree.

Maggie Crowley

I am a senior at Montana State University majoring in Landscape Design and minoring in Environmental Horticulture. I am from Butte, Montana and I love everything that has to do with being outdoors. My sincere fondness of the outdoors has inspired me to use my degree to rehabilitate lands in Montana and promote landscaping with native plants.

Josh Brewer

I am a senior at Montana State University majoring in Landscape Design with a minor in Environmental Horticulture. I was born and raised in Hamilton, Montana admiring the beautiful Rockies right outside my back door.  I love science, art, and nature. This area of study is a perfect way for me to incorporate everything I enjoy into a career that involves designing sustainable landscapes.
